Top 5 Blog Posts of 2017

By -

Spring classes officially began yesterday at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, so to welcome all our new and returning students, I would like to share our most-read blog posts of 2017. Caitlin Magidson, Assistant Director at Carey, Career Coach, blog contributor, and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, once told me that when you embark on anything new, reflection on how you got there will help you adjust or pivot your goals-in-progress while energizing you for what’s ahead. In 2017, our career office took students around the world to meet employers, engaged high-profile companies to bolster student success, reviewed hundreds of resumes, hosted dozens of events and coaching sessions, and lastly, together, engaged the student body, faculty, staff, administration, and external professionals—using the blog as our medium—to share perspectives on personal and professional growth across the Johns Hopkins community. I strongly encourage you to read the posts below, if you have not already, as they are exceptionally written and serve as a testament to our career office’s mission to empower students to realize their full potential and go on to secure meaningful, fulfilling careers that make a difference in the world. I would like to thank all of our contributors, invite those of you interested in publishing to reach out (details below), and look forward to another prolific year in 2018. Cheers.
